Before creating Mater private investment fund, Mr. Mehech participated as a founding member of Search UMM Capital Fund S.A. through which several investments have been made in the sector of flexible packaging. Previously, he worked five years in the area of private banking and mutual funds at Compass Group.
Mr. Mehech is chairman of the executive board of Plásticos Eroflex S.A, Pay Group S.A and Megacompra SpA. He is also a board member of Paytrue S.A., Centros de Salud SpA, GES Retail SpA and board member of Activa SpA.
Mr. Mehech has a B. A. degree in Business Administration from Universidad Gabriela Mistral in Chile and an MBA from Thunderbird University, Phoneix, United States.

For over 10 years he served in various positions at Celulosa Arauco and Constitución SA., where he recently worked as deputy manager of planning and management control. He also worked in Copec as area manager where he was responsible for more than 30 gas stations, with annual sales of US $ 100 million.
Mr. Mellafe is currently a board member of Celulosa Arauco and Constitucion SA., Inversiones Angelini, Pay Group S.A. and GES Retail SpA.
Mr. Mellafe has a B. A. degree in Business Administration from Universidad Gabriela Mistral in Chile and an MBA from Babson College, Boston, United States.
Before becoming a founder of Mater private investment fund, Mr. Ulriksen was a founding partner of Search Fund UMM Capital S.A. through which Plastics Eroflex S.A. was acquired, where Mr. Ulriksen currently works as manager of planning and management control. Previously, he worked at the Collahuasi mine.
Mr. Ulriksen is a board member in Megacompra S.A., GES Retail SpA. and chairs the board of UMM Capital fund.
Mr. Ulriksen has a B.A. degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Chile, where he graduated with honors. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird University, Phoneix, United States.

Mr. Jimenez was CEO of Santa Carolina vineyard. Previously, he worked at Endesa, Ladeco (airlines, currentlly part of LAN) and Watts. He was also member of the board of the asset management area of LarrainVial for 11 years.
He has participated in the development of Activa SpA. He is the current director of Activa SpA, Inmobiliaria San Sebastián, SA, Sembrador Capital de Riesgo, SA (agriculture), SCL Energía Activa, SA. and Minería Activa, SA.
Mr. Jimenez has a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Chile.
He joined LarrainVial in 2003, where he worked as a fixed-income analyst and later as a portfolio manager in the area of asset management. In 2008, after getting his MBA degree, he returned to LarrainVial, specifically to the area of corporate finance. Mr. Vucina has been part of the team of Activa SpA since 2010.
Mr. Vucina has 12 years of experience in managing investment portfolios and structuring bonds, assessments, mergers and acquisitions and financial risk management, among others. In addition, Mr. Vucina participated in the creation of LVA Indices, a subsidiary of LarrainVial.
He has a B.A. degree in industrial civil engineering with a Master in science from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He has an MBA degree from the University of Michigan and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Mr. Lyon belongs to the natural resources and corporate areas of the Guerrero Olivos law firm. He specializes in mining and regulatory law, as well as in investment funds and venture capital.
He worked as an associate attorney at the Vergara y Cia law firm between 2001 and 2006. He was also a professor at the Law Faculty of Universidad Diego Portales and Universidad de Chile between 2007 and 2010.
Mr. Lyon is a lawyer from Universidad Diego Portales. He has a Master of Law in Chinese law from the National University of Singapore.
Mr. Marinović joined the Mater team in early 2014, after getting his MBA in Boston, USA.
He worked for 4 years in Celulosa Arauco where he served first as logistics planning engineer, then as head of the US market and finally as product manager in charge of the commercial management of the most profitable line of products of Aserraderos Arauco.
Mr. Marinović has a B. A. degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes. He also has an MBA from Babson College, Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a diploma in Innovation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile.
He joined the Activa team in 2015, after finishing an MBA at the University of Chicago. Previously, he worked for 4 years in the area of corporate finance at Banco Penta, first as an analyst and then as a partner, where he was in charge of the execution of transactions of M & A, stock openings, bond issue, structured finance, and capital raising in various sectors.
Tom has a B. A. degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Mr. Lobel joined Activa SpA in 2012 for the planning, development and implementation of projects related to energy funds, forestry, agribusiness, real estate and private debt, including structuring, negotiating and raising funds.
He worked as a financial adviser, tax and pension adviser at AFP Provida Prime between 2011 and 2012. Previously, Mr. Löbel had an internship in Randstad Australia.
Mr. Lobel is Master in Finance and B. A. in Business Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
Mr. Ortúzar is an analyst in the Mater team. He joined Mater in 2015 and he is currently involved in the financial, legal and execution issues.
Mr. Ortúzar has a B. A. degree in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes. He joined an exchange program at FH Wien University of Applied Sciences, Vienna, Austria. Previously, Antonio did an internship in Trafigura, in the area of Deals Desk in Singapore.
